Barbara Ehrenreich

     Born August 26, 1941, Barbara Ehrenreich is a social critic, the vice chair of the Democratic Socialists of America, nationally acclaimed journalist,  who often employing sarcasm and other humor in her writing.
     Ehrenreich attended Reed College and the Rockefeller University in New York City, where she recieved a PhD in biology.
    From 1991 to 1997, Ehrenreich was a regular columnist of Time magazine, and currently is a columnist for The Progressive. She has also written for the New York Times, Z Magazine, Salon.com, and other publications.
